The only book you need!

This book Stocks and Exchange is very interesting and useful. I like it very much. There is more information of investing on the stock exchange than in any other book. And everything inside is true. Here are no lies like in other investment books and stock trading books. I will never give it away because each year I will need it.

It works!

This is the best book about investment, what I ever saw. Each one of the thousand terms in the book is described in surprising details. But each article is short, not boring, it is written in American style. Here are the exact numbers of stock valuation, how you should use it for successful investing and how used the stock valuation Warren Buffett, Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch, John Templeton, Philip and Ken Fisher, in exact numbers of P/E, P/B, P/S, P/C, PEG, ROE, debt/equity and more. Very important are here also the 200 wise sayings about stock exchange and money. At the end of the book there is a lexicon explaining 200 terms of stock investment and economics. Children and also adult can understand it. I am very happy with this book and you will like it too. The book is worth every dollar. The author has since 1954 enough experience from the stock exchange, if he wrote such a great book.

This book is not worth a cent. Not even worth one star. Even the simplest book about stocks give you more info than this one. Totally useless. Seems like it was written by someone who is a newbie to capital markets.

Other reviewers have covered the age of the book rather well. The pictures are old and the tools used can be found in many secondhand stores but the techniques used haven't changed. As a matter of fact I was surprised by the number of tools that have been around for the last fifty years. I found cutting and shaping wood hasn't changed near as much as finishing wood. This book supplies the technique and the knowledge, all you need is the practice. The book truly is timeless.

I thought it might be nice to understand how cabinets that are handcrafted are made. A total shock to me is that i actually wanted to make a set of cabinets after i started reading this text. The book includes so many instructionals on making every single part of the cabinet as well as how to use all the tools. I am embarrassed to say that some tools mentioned in the text i had never seen or heard of before. I think this book is very worthwhile for anyone who wants to learn how to create with their hands. Everything now is made with machines and being able to make art( which is what my dad calls wood furniture of any type) is a very prized skill. I would say to anyone that you need to buy this text if you want to make cabinetry or just learn some basic craftsmanship.
Honestly the more of the book i have read the more i have learned and the better able i am to do my job. I am about to start a large reno job and i stand to make several thousand more simply because i am going to make all the cabinetry myself. This book is worth it for small or large jobs the knowledge is priceless.

The book arrived as advertised in new condition. A woodworking friend and I both refer to this book as the woodworker's bible. Some of the information in it relating to power tools is dated but the basics are all still relevant. I only wish I had been aware of this book years ago.
