I really love it sooo much! I have to say that before reading this, I have just read one book from Brooke Moss (Keeping Secrets in Seattle) and completely fell in love with it, it’s one of my favorite books ever. Now I feel so happy that The Art of Being Indifferent is now one of my favorite books that I had read in this year 2014 and one of the best books I had read ever.
I loved the characters Posey and Drew, and loved them even more when they were together. Loved that both of them where always there for each other.
I loved the way both Posey and Drew became friends and the way they became more than friends. I have been a little bit tired of reading insta-love and this book just gave me a nice new breath away from all that. Loved the way Paula and John were, and all the kids.
I love how it was written and the humor of Brooke Moss, I have now no doubts that she is such a great author, and hopefully I may be reading more books from her in the future.

The blurb for the book pretty much sums it up. Not too many surprises or twists if you read the description and are interested give this book a go if not give it a miss.
What I liked
- good writing which makes you want to read more
- good place building - the book set the scene in terms of places really well
- characters had substance - they were well thought out in terms of their pasts, personalities and personal challenges.
What I didn't like
- towards the end posy made some really rash judgement calls which were so out of character and made me dislike her character
- the book is based around some serious issues (abuse, rejection ect) which made it interesting but also a bit depressing.

Not your typical YA read.

Brooke Moss did it again! I like YA book, but most of the time I am left wanting when I finish one. The Art Of Being Indifferent didn't do that for me. It was a good mix of deep connection and fun typical high school love. The characters Posey and Drew and complicated and real. I loved the story! It had me laughing and smiling and slighting on the edge of my seat. Very incredibly job by Brooke Moss! I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes a good connection between characters and a "don't judge a book by its cover" home lives than you'll really enjoy this book.
